Я0M0R – Kicking Auld Styles (Free Download)

Here in England the weather is pretty grim at the moment so I thought I’s give away a summery summertime BBQ type track that I’ve been sat on for a while. It’s got a combination of live bass and sax, cut up vocals and weird plinky synths, plus some splashy cymbal work, all hung around a loose house beat. Hopefully it will remind you that the dark mornings and afternoons will not be here forever.

Props to Mats in Sweden for the Mastering.

Beach Club X Relic – Cumulus // Out Now on GoodStreetRecords

In keeping with Good Street Records’ determination to showcase both well-known and lesser known producers in the UK Footwork / 160 Bass Music scene, we are pleased to present FWUK TRAX SIX, the sixth installment in our UK Footwork series, and our first release of 2014.

Beach Club x Relic kick off the release in style. Their track Cumulus is uplifting and joins the driving footwork rythm with breaks and luscious pianos.

Laura Mvula – Green Gardens (Djemba Djemba Remix)

Djemba Djemba says:

My official remix of Green Gardens, from Laura Mvula’s new album Sing to the Moon…

Check out the original song here:

“Imagine you’re about to go sky diving. Imagine the anticipation as you board the airplane, as it takes off and soars above the clouds, as the doors are opened and the expert gestures for you to walk slowly towards him. Imagine the anticipation. Soak in that feeling for a little bit. Then imagine a song was made that could communicate that anticipation. How would it be done? I’ll tell you how. There’d be a build up to a drop that went on for so long you’d brush dangerously close with soiling your underwear. I mean the drop is that exciting. What’s more exciting is that it comes in the shape of a Djemba Djemba remix of the wonderful Laura Mvula‘s ‘Green Gardens’. ” – Bang Tidy Music
